Dairy-free brand NadaMoo! secures $10 million in Series B funding

Texas-based dairy-free frozen dessert business, NadaMoo! has reportedly secured around $10 million in the Series B funding round led by its current investors, namely InvestEco, District Ventures Capital, as well the company’s latest partner Killam Investments.

Cliffe Killam, Killam Investment’s President, stated that NadaMoo!’s idea of sustainable plant-based desserts is good, and the investment firm sees this as a path to get involved in supporting the plant-based food movement. After trying the various options available, their firm has recognized that NadaMoo! has the most tantalizing ‘better-for-you’ products in the market.

The raised funds will go toward brand development, marketing, distribution, as well as product development for NadaMoo!

Daniel Nicholson, NadaMoo!'s CEO, stated that the amount raised in the Series B funding will enable the business to continue to promote their brand for customers' advantage and the environment.

Nicholson further added that the company will keep working hard to provide customers with the finest dairy-free ice cream experience possible as it expands, and has a bigger, more constructive impact on the world so that it can become a part of the solution.

Killam added that it is wonderful to see investment companies based in Texas moving into environmental industries like plant-based food to secure its progress to a better and sustainable world. Apart from being the ethical thing to do, this increase demonstrates that investment in companies that prioritize the planet, people, and purpose over profit can yield a high return.
